In February 2021, pilot groups will begin training in an additional professional educational program for advanced training in the field of robotics.
The pilot groups included employees of the SIGMA.Novosibirsk group of companies, residents of the Technopark of the Novosibirsk Academgorodok: PlusMinus Electronics, R2 Robotics, Ten Drone.
A unique innovative program for advanced training in robotics was developed by NSU jointly with the Institute of Automation and Electrometry (IA&E) of the SB RAS, as part of a competitive selection announced by FIOP in order to improve the staffing of companies in the nanotechnology sector. The development of the program was carried out in close cooperation with the companies-initiators of the educational project, representing the SIGMA.Novosibirsk group of companies, residents of the Technopark of the Novosibirsk Academgorodok.
Personnel for robotization
Robotics was named among the key areas in which it is necessary to ensure the global technological competitiveness of Russia in the next 10-15 years. This is stated in the Strategy for the Development of the Information Technology Industry for 2014–2020 and for the long term until 2025 and in the program “Digital Economy of the Russian Federation”, designed for 2017–2030. Labor productivity in the main industries, including industry, construction, oil and gas production, security, transport, and retail, will largely depend on the level of development of robotics. As a result, the development of intelligent robotic systems and complexes that are applicable in the field of digital signal processing, machine learning and Data Science is acquiring an especially important role. This, in turn, will increase the demand for skills in the development of modern software and hardware-software systems.
Novosibirsk National Research State University undertakes to prepare qualified personnel of the required specialization, with an up-to-date set of competencies in the design and production of complex software and hardware systems - robotic devices that combine software, modern electronics with nanotechnological scale of components and rational design solutions.
